DESCRIPTION:Join us on December 17th from 6-8 pm for our Gingerbread House Competition at Red Leg Brewing Company! The competition will be 1 hour and 30 minutes for creating and 30 minutes for judging and awards. Check-in at 5:45 pm.\n\nThis is a ticketed event and often sells out. Tickets are $30/gingerbread house\, and each house can have up to 2 decorators. Two pints are also included in the ticket price. Each group will have 1 hour and 30 minutes to construct and decorate their houses. All ages welcome – beer can be substituted for wine\, hard cider or seltzer\, or kombucha.\n\nA basic gingerbread house kit will be provided to each team. The kit includes gingerbread house pieces\, a base\, and candy. It is HIGHLY ENCOURAGED that you bring additional candy and decorating items. We will not have extra candy. All decor MUST be edible.

Please wear something you don’t mind getting messy in! \nWe will use real ceramic clay for this workshop. When the class is over I will take your greenware pottery home with me to dip in a clear glaze and fire in my kiln. 3 weeks after you take the class your finished pottery will be shipped and arrive at your house. Please ensure the shipping address at the checkout is where you would like your pottery to arrive. \nPlease arrive early to buy your drink and be ready to start the workshop at 6 pm. \nPlease bring a screenshot of your Etsy receipt to the workshop as proof of registration. \nWorkshop tickets are non-refundable. Sounds like the perfect evening to us!\n\nThis is a great fly-tying class for those curious about fly-tying or those fly tiers who want to expand their skills! The first part of the class will be a basic introduction to fly tying\, the tools used in fly tying\, and some basic techniques to get you started. The second part of the class will dive into more advanced techniques\, and each student will learn to tie several different types of flies. No experience is necessary\, and we will provide all of the materials for the class.\n\nThis class is also a great prerequisite to any of our 301 advanced level fly tying classes.\n\nThis class is limited to 10 students per date\, so grab your spot today! Registration is required\n\nThe cost is $30 per person.\n\nThe class will take place at the brewery from 4 pm-6 pm. Please come early so you can grab a drink and get settled.
