Join UpaDowna at Red Leg Brewing Company every 1st Thursday of the month this summer for an all-level bike ride followed by a post-ride hangout at your local family-friendly brewery!\n\n$1 of every rider’s pint sold during the event will go back to support UpaDowna.\n\nPedal Party was created to provide an opportunity for bikers of all abilities to ride together in a safe and fun environment while teaching the basics of bicycling safety\, etiquette\, and rules of the road.\n\nNew to biking? Nervous about keeping up with the group? Our experienced staff and volunteers will be with you along the way! Pedal Party aims to introduce new riders to the sport. All ages and activity levels are welcome! Minors must be accompanied by an adult.\n\nAbout the Ride: Nestled at the foothills of the Front Range\, riders will get to take in the views of Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak. There will be an accompanying turnaround point for those who would like to take a shorter distance ride. Rides range from 5-10 miles roundtrip. There will be sections of minor elevation gain. Although the route is primarily on pavement\, there may be short portions of gravel present along the way. Safety first – helmets are required! DESCRIPTION:From bikes to camp gear to everything oudoors\, come grab a deal on gently used items at our Outdoor Gear Silent Auction!\nEvent Details: Grab a pint\, silently bid on outdoor gear\, and jam to Tenderfoot Bluegrass!\nUpaDowna is hosting an Outdoor Gear Silent Auction at Red Leg Brewing Company on Thursday\, 8/4 from 4-8 PM.\n\nAll sales from this event will benefit UpaDowna and our mission of providing access to the outdoors and outdoor adventures. We will have gently used gear ranging from bikes\, camp\, hiking\, water recreation gear\, and gift cards from local businesses!\n\nEvent starts at 4pm. Music by Tenderfoot Bluegrass from 6-8pm. Bidding ends at 7:30pm.\n\nWhat’s a silent auction?\nA starting price with a minimum bid increment will be placed on a bid sheet next to each item up for grabs. When you want to place a bid on an item\, simply write your unique number down (in this case it will be your phone number!). The individual with highest bid\, receives the item! Bidding will end at 7:30PM and all winners can claim their prize on-site or can choose to pick-up their item at another time.\n\n$5\, $10\, $20 Bin\nSmaller items will also be sold for a set price. Instruction centers on the fundamentals of traditional Irish dance — timing\, body position\, and footwork.
