We hope to see you there! \nAbout the Artist:\nJenny is a nature and wildlife photographer based in beautiful Colorado Springs. Since she was a child\, she has been fascinated by nature and the little things in the world around her. As she traveled and lived all over the world\, not only did she take in all of the grand vistas and landscapes that were presented to me\, but she also took the time to get down on the ground to examine things like moss and lichen growing on the side of a rock or the symmetry of a flower. As she got older\, she used point-and-shoot digital cameras and her phone to capture those moments in nature. After moving to Colorado in 2018\, she took the phone and basic camera up a notch with some better photography equipment and really started to get serious about her photography. Now\, after some online courses\, a few more gear upgrades\, and countless hours and miles exploring and photographing the world\, she’s sharing her view of the world with you.

DESCRIPTION:Hi there! My name is Awk and I live in Colorado Springs. Thank you for taking the time to check out my art. I started doing macrame during 2020 at the height of Covid when I wanted to learn a new hobby to pass the time. I watched tutorial videos and practiced multiple techniques before coming up with custom designs. Sometimes I don’t know how a piece will turn out until I actually finish it! I had no intention of selling my creations until I started sharing photos with friends and family online. Someone asked to purchase a piece and somehow I had a micro business overnight! It has been so fun exploring a craft that’s been around for years and seeing what I can come up with. Thank you for letting me share my passion with you. DESCRIPTION:Riders 4 Children\, 5:00pm to 8:00pm\n  \nOrganized by Doug Zurek (Riders 4 Children Founder) the inaugural ride was held on Labor Day weekend\, 2021. With the support of local sponsors and riders\, that ride raised over $16\,000 for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern Colorado. \nIn 2022\, the nonprofit organization\, Riders 4 Children\, hosted the motorcycle ride. \nRiders 4 Children aims to align with the mission of nonprofit organizations who focus on the needs of children\, providing support for those facing unforeseen illness and/or are in need of shelter and resources. \nTogether\, Riders 4 Children Board Members\, donated just over $19\,000 to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern Colorado\, thanks\, in part\, to the generosity of local sponsors\, donors and attendees. \nAs the event grew\, the Board of Directors has too. In 2023\, Riders 4 Children welcomed two new board members\, and donated $23\,096 to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern Colorado. With their help\, we are looking for our events to grow even bigger in the coming years. \nThis year\, there will be a new look to the event. The entire event will be held at Pikes Peak Indian Motorcycle. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. We added two more board members to help with this growing event. \nRiders 4 Children is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Teaming up with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern Colorado has been rewarding as we have helped support families with critically ill children during their time of unforeseen medical crisis. \nPlease consider supporting this ride by participating\, being a sponsor and/or with donation/s so we can continue to support families served by Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern Colorado.
