DESCRIPTION:Pedal with UpaDowna through the Garden of the Gods every Thursday this Summer. Improve your biking skills\, make new friends\, & win prizes! \nEvent Details: Choose from a 4 or 8-mile loop. Go at your own pace. UpaDowna will be with you along the way! \nUpaDowna’s Pedal Party was created to provide an opportunity for cyclists of all ages and abilities to ride together in a safe and fun environment while teaching the basics of bicycling safety\, etiquette\, and rules of the road. In alignment with the mission of the Summit Series Programs\, Pedal Party was designed to empower individuals to reach new goals for their health and wellness and to challenge their comfort zone while also find camaraderie among the community while riding amongst the red sandstone in Garden of the Gods. \nFamilies with young children? Take our short .5 mile ride to the John Blair Bridge and back followed by a post-ride treat for our Little Bikers! \nNeed a Bike?: Rental bikes and helmets will be provided by UpaDowna and Criterium Bicycles. There are a limited number of rental bikes available per ride. Please complete the rental inquiry when registering if you need a loaner bike. \nGet entered to win the end-of-season grand prize brought to you by Arc’Teryx. The more Pedal Parties you attend\, the more entries you receive! Each attended event equals one entry to our grand prize giveaway. We will have small giveaways each week! \nDates: Every Thursday from June 1 to August 31 from 6-7:30 pm.\nMeeting Point: Red Leg Brewing Company. Look for the Yeti Crew on the patio.\nCost: This is a donation-based event. Recommended $15 donation. Make a one-time $15 donation and ride for the Summer! Minimum $10 donation. \n*Special T-Shirt Giveaway to the First 30 Participants to Register*: The first 30 participants to register AND make a $15 donation\, will receive a special edition Pedal Party t-shirt. Must register by the end of the first ride on June 1. T-shirts will be distributed in-person on the 3rd week of Pedal Party. Youth to adult sizes available. Limited to 1 per participant.
