DESCRIPTION:You’re invited to the SECOND Annual COS SausageFest\, hosted by Solsage Food Truck! A celebration of Solsage Food Truck’s two-year anniversary and a delicious gathering of master sausage makers from around the state to commemorate and compete in the age-old art of sausage making.\n\nThis event is one of a kind in Colorado and is hosted by Colorado Springs’ largest veteran-owned brewery\, Red Leg Brewing Company.\n\nAccredited sausage companies from all over the state of Colorado have been invited to participate in a People’s Choice sausage competition and a family-friendly festival to celebrate the industry and age-old art\, with the help of other exceptional local vendors and products!\n\nThe festival will offer live music\, sausage samplings\, locally brewed craft beer\, a stein holding contest\, food samples\, face painting\, vendor goods\, and many fun family-friendly activities.\n\nSausageFest is all about showcasing the splendor of agricultural industries in Colorado and sharing our community’s local businesses\, stories and products with the large food-conscious “foodie” community in Southern Colorado.\n\nJoin the fun for a People’s Choice Sausage Cook-Off where YOU choose the winner of the coveted “Best Sausage in Colorado” award\, gourmet food samplings from various exceptional CO food vendors\, and other fun fall activities.\n\nJoin us on October 8th at Red Leg Brewing Company at 2323 Garden of The Gods Rd.
