Workshop: Fly Tying 101/201 with Angler’s Covey

Enjoy a craft beer and local food, and learn how to tie flies. Sounds like the perfect evening to us!

This is a great fly tying class for those curious about fly tying, or those fly tiers that want to expand their skills! All in the comfort of Red Leg Brewing Company. The first part of the class will be a basic introduction to fly tying, the tools used in fly tying, and some basic techniques to get you started. The second part of the class will then dive into more advanced techniques, and each student will learn to tie several different types of flies. No experience is necessary, and we will provide all of the materials for the class.

This class is also a great prerequisite to any of our 301 advanced-level fly-tying classes.
