June Artist Feature : Awk Stanley

Hi there! My name is Awk and I live in Colorado Springs. Thank you for taking the time to check out my art. I started doing macrame during 2020 at the height of Covid when I wanted to learn a new hobby to pass the time. I watched tutorial videos and practiced multiple techniques before coming up with custom designs. Sometimes I don’t know how a piece will turn out until I actually finish it! I had no intention of selling my creations until I started sharing photos with friends and family online. Someone asked to purchase a piece and somehow I had a micro business overnight! It has been so fun exploring a craft that’s been around for years and seeing what I can come up with. Thank you for letting me share my passion with you.
